Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
